By Faith

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. (Hebrews 11:1, 2 NIV)
The scripture goes on to describe the acts in faith of Abraham, Moses, Noah, and many, many more. If The Lord were to add you to the chapter, could He say, by faith Christi... Would your faith even be worth others looking at? Could you be commended for your faith?

Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:1, 2b ASV)

He knows what it takes to make my faith perfect, and it is far from perfect.

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. (Galatians 2:20 ASV)

He gave everything for me and He loves me! I can put my faith in Him and know that whatever He leads me to do He is working it out for my good and His glory.

Lord, strengthen my faith so that others may be strengthened and so that Your name will be glorified.
